Matteo Lucca, sculptor and performer, aims to explore the relationship between body, earth, and soul through the practices of yoga, meditation, and expressive dance.

“I view this act as if it were a prayer, a ritual, a form of care, immersing oneself in the depths of one's being, even through spontaneous play or dance. From this encounter arises a plastic measure that blooms from the earth, a product of a density of meaning that inhabits the body's imprints. It is in those spaces of void that the body once occupied that the soul resides. The imprint on the earth of a meditating body carries within its emptiness the meditation itself, becoming a prayer.” — Matteo Lucca
