Tempesta Gallery is pleased to present the debut solo exhibition of Norwegian artist Ane Graff.

Graff’s research focuses on the relationship between human and non-human entities. Viewing humans as part of an expanding material network that extends both within and beyond our bodies, her work traces the intellectual history of the West—the division between nature and culture established by Western thought. She questions how ideas of human exceptionalism, Cartesian dualism, and representational thinking are connected to the environmental disasters we face today, and what their current and future implications might be for material bodies.
