Viktor Plamenov Petrov
Multimedia artist exploring the intersection between social, architectural, and political structures, and the ways in which they shape subjects.
Based in Berlin, they develop installations and objects that hybridize industrial components with custom-made parts, infiltrating the visual syntax of economic and patriarchal powers. They transform riot shields into façade elements and stovetops into luminous surfaces, linking modernism and control, technology and labor inequality. Their practice, grounded in both theoretical research and production, aims to “build” in order to reveal and divert the mechanisms that stabilize power. Each project intertwines concept, technique, and material, turning space into both an analysis of information and an apparatus of governance.
